Mahuta Hereford Stud held their annual yearling bull sale on the farm on Friday, 11th September 2026. Sixty nine bulls were offered and all sold with an average of $7,370.00. It was a strong sale with spirited bidding throughout.
Top price was lot 10 sold to Maranui Herefords for $17,500.00. Second equal top price was for $16,000.00 to Arabica Herefords, Red Oaks Herefords and Okawa Herefords. Stud transfers were also made to Kaipara Herefords ($10,000.00) and Otamatea Herefords for $10,700.00 and $9,000.00. In addition there were 5 commercial sales over $10,000.00.
